Steve has been married to his wife Steph for 11 years this summer and they have three kids, Levi (9), Norah (7), and Ivy (4). He served as youth and worship pastor in Wisconsin Rapids for 6 years then moved to Plover in 2016 to oversee Worship Arts Ministries at Woodlands Church. In the past year, he has transitioned to two new roles – Care Pastor and Senior High Youth Pastor. Steve loves all things Wisconsin sports, getting outside and being active, and tacos. He also thinks the ‘land flowing with milk and honey’ will actually be filled with guacamole.

Ben co-planted Eastside Church in 2019 and serves as one of its teaching pastors. As a collective of neighborhood churches, Eastside seeks to reach Madison and Dane County one neighborhood at a time to plant as many missional neighborhood-centric churches as they can. Ben and his wife Nicky have five children: Quinn, Norah, Graham, Avery, and Reed. They’re often found at Devils Lake State Park and love to camp as a family.

Aaron Sowma currently lives in the heart of Wisconsin, Wautoma, where he serves as the Director of Worship & Arts. He spent 8 years in South Korea where God led him to help plant 3RD WAVE Ministry, 3RD WAVE Music, the IGNITE Missions Conference in Seoul, as well as reach the youth for Christ through teaching English. Aaron and his family moved back into the US in 2015 where he served as the Director of Worship and Arts for a church in Federal Way, WA before returning to the mid-west. Aaron is also a singer/songwriter, musical theater actor, and avid movie enthusiast. He has a crazy awesome wife, Dahye, and three kids – Elijah, Grace, and Daniel.

Matt Wilhelm has been serving as pastor of worship arts and college-age ministries at Woodlands Church in Plover, WI for the past 5 years. Matt grew up in Antigo, a small town in north-central Wisconsin. Upon graduating high school, he moved to the Chicago-area to study Bible and classical guitar at Trinity International University. He has been leading worship since he was 14 years old in various contexts and considers himself lucky to do what he does. Matt has a passion for seeing worship leaders grown, developed, and empowered while seeing churches engage with the gospel in deeper ways through the arts. Matt and his wife Jami have been married for almost 4 years and have one daughter, Adela.

Mike Middleton has been the Worship Pastor at Kenosha Bible Church for over 10 years. His passions are developing and mentoring other musicians and leading God’s church in authentic and biblically-based worship. Mike and his wife, Erin of 17 years, have four children ranging from ages one to fourteen.
